Michael is a story teller Heart.

His writing credits include seven screenplays, and four published novels, Son of Kentucky and Sweet Betsy, both focused on Civil War times, Soul of the Samurai, an historical novel set in 17th century Japan, Park Avenue an exciting examination of the high stakes world of art and auction, and a brief history of Christianity in Japan, entititled Jesus and the Samurai.

Michael was the trusted advisor for Los Angeles publishing magnate and philanthropist, Robert E. Petersen, purchasing on his behalf a premier collection of Colt Gatling guns, generously donated by Mr. Petersen’s widow, Margie, now displayed in the NRA Museum. Additionally he bought engraved Colt revolvers from percussion to automatics, rare oddities, superb English sporting guns by Holland & Holland, Purdey, and Woodward on Mr. Petersen’s behalf.
